ImmodestMouse@lemmy.world 2 weeks agoI got a branded puffy vest. I don’t really get the point of vests. If they had something similar with sleeves it seems like that would be way better.
I wear a vest often. The point for me is pockets. Lots of pockets.
My normal pants are pocketless and shirts don’t come with anything beyond a tiny little thing that can’t hold a pen well. The vest isn’t too hot for indoors, helps insulate more outdoors, and has huge pockets.
I wear a vest quite often because it’s easier to put on without raising my arms to shoulder height.

For warmth, don’t really understand it. For fashion, safety or having a shit tonne of pockets they’rrrrreee great!
