This was my dad. He fucking despises capitalism and giant corporations, so forcing them to mail him a check for $.15 several times a month was his go-to antagonism. He might, legitimately have been a facet of the fall of sears and the one holding the USPS together, the way he forced sears to mail him a check every few days.
