So what steps should be taken to prevent those behind the throne having power?
Remove politicians from positions of power.
That doesn’t make sense. The person backing the politician will just switch to another, and you’re back to square one.
That’s a hard question and one I’m unqualified to answer.
But requiring politicians to not be senile would be a good start.
