That doesn’t make sense. The person backing the politician will just switch to another, and you’re back to square one.
Only politicians run for office and are the ones we shouldn’t trust with the power. The solution is to minimize any power given to politicians.
If the politicians don’t have power, who would? An unelected court?
We can’t trust politicians with power and the government can’t function without them, the best solution is to limit the power they can wield.
