I’ve only seen the US version. I should watch the UK one.
I specifically mention the US one because its only one season and has a story conclusion. I watched it specifically after searching for shows that had satisfying endings. I was tired of watching series that ended but the story didn’t.
Granted the conclusion of Life On Mars US feels rushed, because it was, they didn’t get a second season, but they made it work and concluded the story.

In the words of my 17 yo daughter “that was fucking amazing.” I saw it with a few friends and family at a small theater in Minneapolis with some of the crew talking beforehand.
It’s truly an amazing watch.

The recent 4K release is getting trashed for how bad the AI did “upscaling” or whatever the AI did. I liked this video about it.

Hearing this makes me sad. Also, watching the trailer and seeing the Moonfall guy, oooof.
I liked the first book though.

Kenshi. Take a look at it. You control people in a very active world, but you build settlements and mine iron, stone and copper and build things, and explore to get more research to build better things and improve your people so they can build even bigger and better things. Deep lore if you like that as well, but easy to ignore.
