Nintendo has shown they have no interest in making real console hardware
Ah yes, the no true Scotsman argument.
Nintendo doesn’t make hardware to compete with Sony and Microsoft, despite having the best selling console hardware all-time, among the current generation, and among several previous generations.
You don’t have to be a graphical powerhouse to compete with PlayStation and Xbox…

Tunic was fun. Monkey Ball was pure adrenaline.
Looking forward to Sonic Adventure 2 and Metroid Dread. Oh, and Elden Ring.
- Comment on 'There's almost nobody left': CEO of Baldur's Gate 3 dev Swen Vincke says the D&D team he initially worked with is gone, due to Hasbro layoffs 10 months ago:
They didn’t even read the headline.
The headline clearly says that Hasbro (owners of WotC/D&D) did layoffs, not Larian Studios (creators of Balder’s Gate 3).

+1 for Portal 2.
OP, the co-op campaign for Portal 2 is a separate story from the single player campaign.
It’s a puzzle game at it’s heart, wrapped in the control scheme of an FPS.
- Comment on Google, Meta, Amazon hiring low-paid H1B workers after US layoffs 1 year ago:
There are some interesting comments in that thread.
In particular, H1Bs don’t save Google money. SWEs in the same location at the same level are paid roughly the same, regardless of immigration status. (Pay data at Google is fairly transparent). Plus the H1B sponsorship process is expensive for the company. So US citizens/green card holders are probably cheaper for the company overall.
What Google is doing to save money is expanding their engineering presence in India, where SWEs are paid much less.
- Comment on Everyone's favorite shaft-like Wiglett is getting the plush treatment 1 year ago:
The plush stands firmly at 10 ¼ inch length and 4 ¾ inches wide, which is quite a bit below average for your standard Wiglett. It’s held up by a large, sack-like base. Its long, pale shaft will no doubt delight company when you display it for all to see. The store page notes that its body is bendable, so it should stay rigid and erect as you pose it into different configurations. Meanwhile, its soft body invites you to take it into bed with you so you can spend all night together.
