Hi! I’m Chinese and this is incorrect. 吗 (mā) and 边 (biān) actually have the same flat intonation, so there isn’t a rise in pitch in either of the questions. To answer OP, the word 吗 in particular is just typically used to end off some sentences in order to differentiate whether they are statements or questions, ie. 你要回家。(you want to go home) vs 你要回家吗?(do you want to go home?)

Haven’t played in a bit, but for sure my forever GOAT as far as total hours of fun had.
I love the Demoman! His grenade launcher is especially fun — the feeling of hitting 2-3 clean pipes in a row is unrivalled in my mind.

Currently have over 100 hours in Persona 3 Reload and I haven’t even completed the game yet.
Always wanted to dive into P3P/FES until Reload was announced, and I’m so happy I waited. The game is very polished and I’ve heard it is a very faithful remake of the OG P3. Definitely going for a NG+ after this!
