- Comment on Can't Afford A Nintendo Switch 2? Buy A Switch 1, Nintendo Says - Insider Gaming 1 week ago:
I don’t consider myself an early adopter, heck I never am, the only time I recall is getting a New Nintendo 3DS Black Friday edition even before the BF (the thing arrived first in Mexico) just because it was a special edition and the only way to get that model here officially… And for a good price even!
The only reason I am tempted to get a Switch 2 is because it probably means it will get exploited easier/earlier than the next batches.
- Comment on Are there any games you don't play as it was intended to be played? If so, what game and how? 1 week ago:
And that is why it would be fun to troll the worldwide players with such a tactic, at least for a little while, but the world ain’t funny anymore and they wouldn’t do that with arguably the most expected game of the decade.

Is there any mission as of nowadays that forces you to drive according to traffic laws in any of all the entries?
If not I propose a very annoying one like the Driver tutorial as the GTA VI tutorial.

What the hell, I didn’t know they were doing a sequel haha.
- Comment on The Switch 2 Rollout Was So Convoluted It Made Us Want A Steam Deck. 1 week ago:
I have never cared about winning Internet arguments, nor I have been surprised with such a reply, so there is a first time for everything I guess.
My point is that there’s no reason to think the Switch 2 can’t be emulated on the Deck, at least not until we get more information.
Also there is not a reason to believe that it will emulate Switch 2 games… What I can almost guarantee is that it won’t be as smooth as it does with Switch 1 games, unless we talk about less demanding games ofc.
The Steam Deck supports 4k60 just fine, just not on the built-in display ofc.
TIL, so docked emulation could be something (I suppose it gets more power plugged in as well).
- Comment on I don't know who needs to hear this, but DO NOT EVER expose Jellyfin to the internet 2 weeks ago:
I am sorry, I don’t think I follow, I am CGNATED anyway, so I need to use VPNs to access my server (if IPv6 is not available, for IPv4 I am experimenting with Tailscale funnels as of now).
- Comment on I don't know who needs to hear this, but DO NOT EVER expose Jellyfin to the internet 2 weeks ago:
It is if you have compared them together.
I haven’t recently thought and I am a lifetime Plex pass user (we will see what lifetime truly means sooner or later) and I have still been unaffected by most of the changes Plex has done (watch together is the 1st valuable feature that I have lost), so if you can’t expose Jellyfin then it is not better than Plex for me.
- Comment on The Switch 2 Rollout Was So Convoluted It Made Us Want A Steam Deck. 2 weeks ago:
Why not?
Let’s be objective here, can you really see the Steam Deck emulating the Cyberpunk 2077 game of the Switch 2? I know there is not a reason to do this, but these kinds of achievements are what I mean with “perfect emulation”.
But tbf, the deck is relatively old by now and could itself benefit from an upgrade
I have no doubts that a Steam Deck 2 will emulate Switch 2 games… But everyone keeps telling me this won’t happen soon enough…
As far as emulation, we at least know Nintendo considered it worth the effort to try to take down all Switch 1 emulators before even revealing fhe Switch 2, probably suggesting it’s not going to be hard to emulate.
That is one opinion, my personal one is that they just did it because they can still benefit from the sales of the Switch 1 games as the console is retrocompatible, so of course they would want you to pay for them instead of emulating them… Think of it as when they were actively blocking flashcarts that launched games for the DS in the 3DS.
It’ll probably be limited mostly to 2D titles, simple 3D ones, or maybe some hyper-polished first party titles
Perhaps, but what we know as of now is that Metroid Prime 4 was announced to run at 4K 60 FPS/1080p 60 FPS which I think the current Steam Deck will not be able to achieve (it doesn’t even have such resolutions), perhaps 720p 120 FPS is doable, but if it can’t perfectly emulate the Switch 2 then I don’t see it as a viable Switch 2 replacement.
- Comment on Switch 2 mouse mode (such potential) 2 weeks ago:
Well, PC ain’t a handheld, unless you add streaming (local or externally) or a dedicated machine like the Steam Deck to the equation, that would definitely be something about the 450 bucks Nintey asks.
- Comment on The Switch 2 Rollout Was So Convoluted It Made Us Want A Steam Deck. 2 weeks ago:
Do you really think the Steam Deck will have the horsepower to emulate Switch 2? I’d love too, but even Switch 1 is not in perfect level yet (like PPSSPP perfect like).

People bought a Wii so they could play a motion control game with Grandma once or twice
I’d give up everything just to do this…

I mean… I will be able to get a Nintendo Switch 2 eventually… Regarding the Steam Deck, I can’t buy it officially in Mexico yet… Come on Valve, we are literally neighbors of the USA lol.

I want my Metroid Prime Hunters online (I still hop there with Wiimmfi)… Not everything must be Splatoon :/
- Comment on Switch 2 mouse mode (such potential) 2 weeks ago:
I swear people (not you) comments just because lol.
We get it boys, Nintendo doesn’t do anything right.
- Comment on Switch 2 mouse mode (such potential) 2 weeks ago:
Do you think that? I just think their approach is not getting inventive with games that are better suited for mouse gaming, because I can tell playing those games with traditional controllers seems like a chore.
- Comment on I don't know who needs to hear this, but DO NOT EVER expose Jellyfin to the internet 2 weeks ago:
Huh, I can’t check the link right now… But if exposing Jellyfin to the Internet is not an option, then it is not ready to be shipped as the Plex replacement I have heard a lot here and on Reddit.

I’d suggest finding out and being an early adopter.

You know it will not… The best I hope is that MK doesn’t sell too well separately thus forcing a discount.

Just really don’t like building mechanics in games. Or crafting.
High five brother.
Even with that I am about to finish BOTW, I am not too excited about TOTK though.
To be honest even when BOTW has crafting mechanics I barely use them… I don’t cook anything unless a mission requires it, the same for the weapons I don’t craft them, I just pick up whatever, it is not like they last too much.

Because it was a top notch TV show, at least very much beloved in LATAM…
We do know only Disney could kill that excitement though.

I didn’t know, I actually was gonna make my way with the 2D series first and at the very end the Prime series.

I haven’t played it, I guess this one should come after Metroid II shouldn’t it?
Anyway, yeah, I obviously know about Super Metroid and it is one of the prettiest games even today.

Luckily the fan game AM2R, or the slightly less good but still excellent 3DS remake do for Metroid II what Zero Mission did for the original.
I just started with the Metroid saga (it is never too late I guess) and I started with Zero Mission, I am actually struggling with what is next for me, whether to start with AM2R or the 3DS one… Both look appealing to me, but as I don’t have nostalgia googles for the older 2D games and the 3DS one has always called my attention, I might lean more to it… On the other hand, AM2R is a fan game… And I have a huge respect for those…

Xbox handheld made sense before when we had proper handhelds.
Nowadays… Not so much, I struggle to think how anybody would not think that this is just another Steam Deck/ROG Ally or whatever other PC gaming handheld in the market.
