As long as it means more rights for the worker and not less I’m all for it.

Rice and beans is life
- Comment on Scrap law making schools serve meat, says Labour donor Vince Dale 1 month ago:
I’ve heard of this, but I’m not sure it’s true, after searching I can’t find a source that says it is either, are you aware of any studies that suggest this is true?
I’m not advocating removing meat from school meals either, just that everyone is catered for.
- Comment on Scrap law making schools serve meat, says Labour donor Vince Dale 1 month ago:
They have to serve it, not force it down student’s throats though right? Is there anything restricting them from also serving something plant based at the same time?
- Comment on Campaigners tie baby slings to statues in call for better UK paternity leave 1 month ago:
It’s a weird position to take, if I was offered parental leave I’d take it all and probably wouldn’t want to come back to work.
Fair enough if you live in a place where people actually like their jobs and want to be there, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for the majority of us.

Just cos you like animals doesn’t mean you’re not a capitalist.
- Comment on Aldi price match at Tesco - dozens of goods not like-for-like 1 month ago:
Can’t say I’ve seen any though I browse with an ad blocker and don’t watch TV. When I do see adverts in the UK they are mostly fear mongering or trying to appeal to your ego.
- Comment on Aldi price match at Tesco - dozens of goods not like-for-like 1 month ago:
0% for me :)
- Comment on Scrap law making schools serve meat, says Labour donor Vince Dale 1 month ago:
Is there a law that forces a school to serve meat to every student? That would be a weird law.
Schools should cater for dietary requirements, regardless of whether those requirements are for medical or moral reasons.

39%? 60% seemed low. Glad I don’t eat that shit.
- Comment on Campaigners tie baby slings to statues in call for better UK paternity leave 1 month ago:
It’s mad that it’s not equal, if mothers and fathers have equal childcare leave there’s no need to discriminate against hiring women full time (which is a thing that still happens, some companies don’t like to take women in their mind 20s full time cos they end up taking maternity, I saw this happen first hand while I was in RBS, that was only 2 jobs/a few years ago)

- Comment on Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan accused of being 'serial tax evaders' over online businesses including OnlyFans 4 months ago:
That and we don’t really allow sex workers to have a proper place of work and hire proper security so they are left to work on the street and seek the protection of a pimp.
- Comment on J.K. Rowling Blasts “Gender Taliban” David Tennant After ‘Harry Potter’ Actor Said “Whinging” Trans Critics Are On “Wrong Side Of History” 4 months ago:
It came out when I was 9, so I was part of the target demographic, though I didn’t pick it up til I was 12 or 13 because we read it at school, though by that point I had read most of the Animorphs books, so potter came across as very tame and a bit too childish. I was already dealing with themes of war and genocide and existential crisis and everything else Animorphs threw at you.

- Comment on PIP 'unsustainable' in current form as Stride to announce benefit changes 5 months ago:
Every 4 years since the Tories took office, they’ve tried to stop PIP to my friend’s autistic brother, the entire family needs to step in and do work to ensure they don’t take that away from him.
Weirdly, autism doesn’t just “get better”, but they keep doing it anyway. I’m sure this isn’t the only story of this heartless nonsense.

- Comment on Guardian sacks cartoonist Bell in antisemitism row - BBC News 1 year ago:
The description of the comic didn’t sound anti-semetic, unless there’s some anti semetic trope that I’m unaware of. Being against the state of Israel, apartheid, etho-states and genetic cleansing of Palestinians isn’t anti-semetic. Self surgery with boxing gloves actually seems rather apt imagery.
There’s no mention of past anti-semetism in the article either as far as I can see, something about Tories which I don’t quite understand the reference, nose rings? Is that a trope I don’t understand?
Help me out here.

Do you also believe the earth is either flat or hollow or that dinosaurs didn’t exist or that giants used to roam the earth? Cos wow this is one of the dumbest threads I’ve ever read.
“The guardian” 😂😂😂
I can’t even bring myself to ask you why they would want to do that and what benefit it gives them because I know the answer is going to be mind-bogglingly stupid.
