- Comment on What exactly is the security of direct messages on lemmy? Does anyone actually use matrix? 1 week ago:
Yup, Inuse matrix, but it has a strong metaphor to email that you have to chose your provider. And the problem is that the official instance is under heavy load but at the same time, you don’t want to setup your acc with some noname homelabber pepe. I woud research second or third biggest instance and go there.

Not for gaming, but macbook trackpads are really good. Like so fucking good that they actually make a desktop version of trackpads people seriously chose over mice even on tables.

is that the one with dialogue commentary, which got completely deranged as it went on?

Yeah, some sites in the Czech Republic do it too, unfortunately. IANAL, so I don’t know if that’s illegal under GDPR, but I hope it is illegal and their luck runs out.

I love handcrafted world of skyrim. Escapist preview essentially mentioned that a lot of the starfield world is barren procedural-like planets. I would love an exploration game. I’m not sure I want a game with bazillion planets each of which has essentially same outpost (from design perspective). Granted, I might be wring, I keep watching reviews and opinions, but at this point, the game is not instabuy, more like wait for a sale - if it kept its hype.

The Escapist preview essentially confirmed my fears - I guess I’ll patiently wait for TES IV.

I’ve tried that with Fitefox on macos and I cannot replicate. Granted, I do have the downvote restoration addon, which might change the rendering a bit.

I’m having fun with Jedi Fallen Order on my Steamdeck. One thing that caught me off guard is how imho good the facial animations are…but maybe I don’t play that much aaa anymore so that may be standard nowdays.
