Well, I can tell you trying to use the Xbox controllers I have on Linux, with Bluetooth was a nightmare until their firmware was updated.

We all do what we can. For example my calendar is self hosted and managed personally. Apple is simply a client using Caldav.

Wow. What a zinger?
No, probably not. Love em or hate them, they have a pretty good record on privacy going back decades.
Google though. lol. I mean that’s THE largest advertisement company to ever exist. The same company who finally admitted they were selling incognito data.

It still looks terrible IMO.
- What are the “2 all-day events”?
- Why is HALF of the widget wasted white space.
- why are there 3 more events if half of the widget is wasted white space.

I caught it. Seems others didn’t.

Silly me for thinking the point of the widget was to allow you to see your week at a glance.

The act of what is being done is a remix.
It’s like comparing Copying vs Plagiarism. There may be a term that adds more context on the how or why the copying is happening.
Copying vs. Plagiarism
- What’s being done: Reproducing someone else’s work (copying).
- Why it’s different: Plagiarism involves passing off someone else’s work as one’s own, typically without permission or acknowledgment.
- Term: Plagiarism

it’s called a “remix”.
- Comment on Steam Is Run By Fewer Than 80 Staff, Lawsuit Docs Reveal 5 months ago:
If Epic was first to monopolize PC game marketplaces people would be defending them like they defend Valve now because they want all of their games in one place.
No, people accept Steam because of the proven track record, values of their leadership, their hardware and the work they do with Linux.
Linux gaming was stable before Proton.
Please.

Didn’t they do that already? I thought Microsoft offered low end Xbox with a subscription when they first launched gamepass?
- Comment on Can slow songs be a banger? 1 year ago:
Gen Z has redefined “banger”. I’m not old man’n here. It’s okay. Every generation does it.
We used to use “that’s banging“ quite a bit in the 90s and my understanding was the musically it was mostly used as “head banging” for heavy music. Again, don’t care how people want to define it today. I’ve still mostly seen it referenced to music that hits you a bit harder than most, but whatever.
