- Comment on What is your favorite decade for movies? 7 months ago:
As much as I love modern films, I love the 90s most of all. Action films, especially. Films from that time seem cheesy and dated now. At the time they weren’t cliché, they were cutting edge and building the cliché.
So many classics

Unless it’s fluids being discharged from a body. Not so much then.
- Comment on Android users who have a keen eye for design and detail, how is the whole stutter/lag situation? Esp. after a few years of use? 7 months ago:
I been using android since version 2 and never encountered this. I guess it depends on the device a lot, as I’ve worked a lot in the mobile industry I’ve tended to have the more powerful devices.
Which makes sense, smart phones being small computers and all, the slower ones are slow sometimes and the faster ones tend to be faster.
Androids diversity has always been it’s strength and weakness
- Comment on Era of complex and ambitious TV is over, says Sopranos creator 10 months ago:
I think there will still be ambitious and creative stuff being made.
It’ll just be in the minority, the bulk being predictable and repetitive.
I’m reasonably confident this has always been the case and we see the past through the rose tinted glasses of selection bias.
- Comment on What games do you think are unfairly snubbed when talking about the best games of all time? 10 months ago:
Adding my Voice for Zero Hour. Excellent game. the multiplayer, skirmish and campaign modes all have something to offer.
It’s crying out for a proper remake. Just a modern patch. Don’t change anything, just make it work easier, especially the networking
- Comment on Stephen Fry wants King's Guard to ditch bear fur 10 months ago:
This doesn’t exactly seem like a revelation to me, and I don’t know why you’d need undercover footage… how do you think they hunted bears?
Because most people don’t think about it. Video is a good way to get them started.

Is that the one with the robots who challenge him to a dance contest?
Rhythm is futile?

If we had a vote, I don’t think he would vote for him either
- Comment on I've seen it said that TNG was centered around Picard, Riker, and Data like TOS was centered around Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. But I've always thought of TNG as an ensemble cast. Thoughts? 1 year ago:
There’s heart of Glory, sins of the father, redemption & birthright for worf and his heritage I think. And parallels which is just about worf.
It’s not many unless I’m missing some.

There’s plenty of Troi, Beverley and Geordie episodes in the mix, and worf episodes are typically excellent if few.
But I think the big three you mention dominate the story lines as they’re running things whenever a story isn’t about a particular crew member
- Comment on XL Bullies: Prime Minister's XL Bully ban will not apply in Northern Ireland 1 year ago:
At this point, isn’t that a semantic argument since we don’t have the means to ban specific people from owning specific breeds?
