- Comment on why is the world suddebly focused on the irsali-palestine conflict and hamas group? 1 year ago:
Because this time it really could lead to WWIII. The middle east has always been a powder keg, but this time, both sides have committed such atrocities that there’s no coming back from it, unless they sit back at the negotiation table. (They won’t).
For the Israeli side, it’s the 1400 dead and mutilated bodies and the 200 hostages they somehow forgot about. For Hamas, the last decades of living in an open air prison, harassment and dehumanising of their people. Also they have nothing to lose at this point. And the violence is not letting up.
If Israel continues with this bloodlust thing they’re doing by bombing civilians, journalists and UN workers indiscriminately to death, chances are the Hezbollah’s will get involved in Lebanon. They’re much more organised and subsidized. When they get seriously in, it means the US will be obliged to counter attack. When the US counterattacks, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Egypt, all the Arab countries (with A SHIT TON OF MONEY) will get involved too in this war. This means more death and a war that no one will win, only more dead civilians as usual.
The more I think about it, the more I think this is Netanyahu’s end goal. Forcing the US to join in on the war is their only way of winning this genocidal war. And to do that they have to antagonise all the regional players to a point that they can no longer look away from all the kids dying and start a real war on them so the Israeli can play the victim and be supported by the US and some (not all!) EU countries. This can break the world, divide the unity of the EU and put them against the US. Africa will get involved too. Actually pit everyone against everyone…
And then we have China and Russia…this is literally their wet dream. They’ll swoop in and take over after everyone of importance dies.
Sorry, just very drunk and it is still a worst case scenario…
- Comment on Do any ATMs in Belgium support balance inquiries? 1 year ago:
I know Belfius still has a few ATMs inside the building, they do show your balance. During the day you can enter without swiping your card, but after certain hours you have to your card to get in.
Also, they have the banking app so you can always check your balance and do payments as long as you have a debit or credit card. Unless you have a special expenses card when in debt collection I think.
- Comment on How should I find a good hair cut? 1 year ago:
I’ve heard that taking magazines is bad from my hairdressers, because everyone has a different face shape and not every haircut is suited for that. It’s better to figure out what your face shape is and look up online which haircuts go with that.
Something like this
Sorry Pinterest link.
Also, look up middle eastern hair cuts from your peers, I descend from that region, so our hair tends to be very different from other people. I found this online, there are some cool haircuts there.
I also found this article online.
The most important thing is good hygiene: shower daily/everythime you get sweaty. If you can’t shower one day, the minimum should be washing with a washcloth your face, neck, ears, armpits, boy parts (front and back). It’s mostly the same when you take an abdest before praying. Brush teeth daily two times a day at the least. Floss if you can or have access to a waterpik, that’s easier. Clip hand and toenails regularly (once a week) and maybe even shape them with a file. Use deodorant under armpits (but not too much) Take care of your skin: moisturize with a good cream, you can never start too young. BUT if you have skin problems, visit a dermatologist first. U can also do a face mask every week, clay masks are really good at getting your skin clean.
These are all tips from a woman, but hey they are valid for men too I guess.
Also, every time I visit Turkey for example, they have these salons where they do everything: hair, nails, feet, facemasks, waxing, … And it’s very cheap. I loved being pampered for a few hours! There should be something like that in Iran for men too, maybe look around a little (depending on your budget of course).
Good luck and remember you’re a work in progress. Trying out different things is the fun stuff, don’t take it too seriously when something doesn’t work well, it grows out really fast.
- Comment on Does anyone drink instant coffee anymore? 1 year ago:
I use it, because I have fibromyalgia. So it’s easier sometimes to just press the button on the kettle to makes some coffee. When I’m doing well, I always make Turkish coffee, since it feels like it makes me clearer way faster than other coffee does.
- Comment on Is there any way I can stop seeing sports posts? 1 year ago:
It took me a few days of browsing All and blocking anything sports, games and anime related and now it’s far far better. They still pop up sometimes, but I make it a war effort to block them. It is exhausting, but worth the time.
- Comment on What kind of upbringing makes an incel? 1 year ago:
Yes, let’s blame the women again.
The better question would include the father of the incel or what kind of parents does the incel have?
Why not just take responsibility for who and what you are and I don’t know, just live your life? Get help and get over it. Women don’t owe you anything.
I’m more interested in how the incel would treat a woman if he ever found one.
- Comment on Why are wrong numbers so common in the US? 1 year ago:
It’s a new trick from scammers. They engage you that way and try to get money or gift cards from you.
(Bad) Reddit has a complete subreddit about it and people post how they string them long etc … it is hilarious.
