- Comment on Baldur’s Gate 3 deserves better than these awful WizKids miniatures that look like they’d melt on a mildly temperate afternoon 1 month ago:
The author calls it satire…. but it seems more like they’re genuinely upset about the quality of these minis.
Is this like when kids say something scathing and end it with “just kidding”?

Isn’t central time a bit of a mess due to some states observing daylight savings time and others not? Is this 7pm daylight or standard?

I was pretty confused too. It sounds like he won’t support anyone who is “anti-Israel”… which I thought the narrative was “Biden is pro Israel”… also the whole Canadian border crossing thing right after complaining about immigrants makes him sound a bit unhinged. This article is awful. Who cares about a random actor anyway? Even if I did this article doesn’t give me anything coherent to sway my ideas.
- Comment on What are the best indie games you've ever played? 8 months ago:
Since everyone’s mentioned the standards.
I’ve really enjoyed playing Tails of Iron (metroidvania with a focus on learning bosses attacks) lately. For programming games, I really liked Shenzhen IO (You create hardware with something resembling an Assembly language and a printable manual) and Human Resources Machine (drag and drop assembly programming)
I also have a soft spot for anything from Ska Studios (I maed a game with zombies in it, salt and sanctuary, salt and sacrifice, dishwasher, Charlie murder, and a bunch of older games that are probably not playable anymore)

Politics aside, this source is trash tier. At least link the original ny post article and not this garbage rage blog (or whatever you would call this) that links to the tweet that links to the source.
From the original source: the current value is closer to 2.5 million due to the depreciation of assets and they’ve now recovered 12,000 of the 77,000 assets. Still the number of lost assets is pretty staggering and someone (or many someones) is doing a really poor job of managing their assets… especially when it comes to interactive whiteboards and document cameras?!?
- Comment on An Antique Dress Held a Secret: A Coded Message From 1888 10 months ago:
For those who don’t want to click the article it was a weather report
Wayne Chan, a data analyst at the University of Manitoba, finally cracked the case. The note, he wrote in a recent study, contained codes used to telegraph condensed weather observations for stations in the United States and Canada in 1888. Each message started with a station location, followed by code words for temperature and pressure, dew point, precipitation and wind direction, cloud observations, wind velocity and sunset observations, Mr. Chan wrote.
- Comment on Barbie (2023) OST streaming release discussion post 1 year ago:
I felt the exact same way. Great style. The actors nailed it… the first act felt like it had a solid direction… and then they forgot where they were going for the rest of the movie.
Why was Barbie being in the real world an extreme crisis just for it to be no problem at the end of the movie?
The mother daughter relationship felt shallow and forced.
Why were the Barbies intelligent but also immediately brainwashed?
They could have cut Will Ferrell and the entire board by the end of the movie as they added virtually nothing to the plot except Will Ferrell jokes. Why did they even go to Barbieland? What did they accomplish? Why were they chasing them just to leave them alone? Did I miss major parts of this movie or something?
- Comment on Looking for games with strong female leads for my daughter (even just to watch as I play). Came across this link, but they're a bit old. Any suggestions from the community? 1 year ago:
Haven’t played that particular Shantae game, but I found the series off putting to play in front of my kids due to the high amount of fan service. Seems like not what op might not be going for here.
