Surprisingly fine. I actually have a way of dealing with the sugar in gum.

Team Gum! When I read “I am sure I look crazy rattling a dozen little tubs of gum at the self-checkout”, I died - I’m not alone ! I’m pretty much the same: not 40 or 60 pieces a day like in my second year of university, but still around 20 a day. And yes, good gum is surprisingly hard to find. The flavor lasts “5 minutes” then it goes rock-hard five minutes later.

😂 I’m not sure about that, but I’ve built up some serious jaw endurance - and some jaw definition too.
As for gum, Hubba Bubba is probably my favorite.

Honestly ? I have no idea. At this point, it’s basically a lifestyle. But I do know that chewing a lot of gum started with a school prank…

Yeah and no, it’s not that simple… It used to be cheaper, and back in school there were also other sources - friends. ;-)
I don’t chew quite that much anymore. These days, a ~ kilogram of gum (around 160 pieces?) costs me about €20, so I can still afford it. And honestly, smoking would probably cost about the same anyway.

Well, at this point I’m basically 10% human and 90% bubble gum. But seriously - yeah, probably.

mostly Hubba Bubba or Chupa Chups bubble gum.

No stomach problems so far. I only chew bubble gum, though. Regular chewing gum is a different story. Stomach aches and all that.

I don’t have jaws like a bear trap. The bear trap has jaws like me. 😂
Seriously though, my jaw is definitely stronger from all those years of chewing. And I can definitely blow some huge bubbles. 😁
