Man, research is advancing at a tremendous pace. So excited about where this is all heading!
- Comment on PIXART-δ: Fast and Controllable Image Generation with Latent Consistency Models 10 months ago:
I wonder if this model would see an increase in quality if it had the same quantity of data as something like stable diffusion. It is impressive, but I've found that it lacks knowledge of some things that stable diffusion understands.

good. as they should be. - Comment on Health care workers picket outside US hospitals in multiple states, kicking off 3-day strike 1 year ago:
Oh yeah I get that. I wasn't hating on you. Just making my own little side point that they're squeezing as much as they can from the patients. Giving more to the labor side wouldn't make patients have anymore to give. Blood from a stone and all that. :)

Oh man, if service workers can unionize, we may finally be able to rid ourselves of this tipping culture we all hate so much. God speed, service workers. Really pulling for you.
- Comment on Health care workers picket outside US hospitals in multiple states, kicking off 3-day strike 1 year ago:
Kinda yes. But also kinda no, because they're already trying to squeeze as much as possible before everyone breaks. Anything they can do, they were going to do already. They might have something new to blame it on, but I don't think any particular squeezing will be the fault of the striking workers.

It's time to start posting links to our own blogs, again. Reddit brainwashed us into thinking that "self advertisement" was a bad thing. What they actually wanted you to do was instead turn your content into text posts on reddit itself so that we'd get locked into the platform.
Self advertise. Write interesting things on your blog and then share your posts here.
- Comment on What antivirus software should i use? 1 year ago:
I've used ESET NOD32 for a long time. It costs money, but it's relatively light weight, doesn't get in the way of any of the gaming or video editing or programming work I do, and it has smacked my hand a few times clicking on risky links, blocking a few downloads (one or two, ever) and often blocking scam websites that attempt to run javascript crypto miners. Your experience may vary if you're planning on using "rescued" media or applications. I don't have have the full internet/devices subscription, just the one for personal computers that does the actual virus detection.

Now just imagine how much us techbros could make in engineering if we unionized.

I will not, but I'm guessing they're all opinion pieces by people who own massive business real estate holdings (directly or through a hedge fund they run) and think "getting back to work" is good for the American spirit, or something.
- Comment on More Perfect Union went to a trump rally. Their criticisms sound very close to that of socialists 1 year ago:
Yes. The difference is that its corporations doing the the majority of the propagandizing rather than the government directly. But propaganda is propaganda.
