Because to right-wingers, the system Iran has to subjigate their people, impose “religious values” upon the population, imprison it’s enemies for the most mundane of offenses, is exactly the system that they want here in America.
To people like Trump, this is ideal.
- Comment on Xbox pulls Gears video featuring a PS5 logo, 24 hours after announcing it as an exclusive 1 week ago:
Neither of these console companies have made good decisions in the past year.
Sony is fucking up big time with all kinds of stuff they’re doing, like paying 3.6 billion for Bungie and then throwing their weight behind a game that nobody wants and nobody likes instead of the game that made Bungie what it is. Then Sony jacked up the price of PlayStation Plus and announced that they’re no longer supporting PC with single player games. I have zero faith in Sony to make the right decisions anymore.
And now Xbox is pulling their shit with this exclusivity crap. Exclusivity doesn’t make me want to go out and buy your console. It wants me to avoid the console and everything related to you. There are plenty of games that won’t be wrapped up in this bullshit that I’ll be playing instead.
- Comment on Destiny 2 is dead: "active development" ends next month after one final update, but Bungie says the MMO will still be "playable" 4 weeks ago:
I had 4000 hours in D1 and over 6,000 hours in D2 even though I haven’t played either game since July of 2025. Edge of Fate just looked boring as hell, the portal and all the other changes they made totally turned me off from the game. I waited eagerly while they released Renegades but saw no relief to the things that bothered me. Not to mention the fact that renegades just made it look even more like Bungie had no concept of what the identity of Destiny should be. It once again just started copying other games or concepts. If I wanted to play a Star wars game, I’d play a Star wars game.
Marathon however does not appeal to me in any way. I don’t give a rat’s ass about extraction shooter games. Why they decided to pour so much time and energy into such a niche game makes no sense to me. We all know they’re going to add PVE as an add-on game mode. But that’s just it, it’s going to be an add-on. Unless it’s extremely robust and thought out and deep, it’s not going to retain players. It may attract some new ones temporarily, but that won’t last. If Bungie can’t keep up with the pace of development needed to support Destiny. 2, what makes people think they’ll be able to do it for Marathon?
Marathon will never generate the revenue that Destiny 2 ever did simply because they chose such a niche game type. They can add whatever game modes they want but at the end of the day it’s still an extraction shooter and it’s primary focus will still be more on PVP in a world where there are plenty of other extraction shooter games out there that have far more players and are far more fleshed out and are far more inviting to new players of all skill ranges.
It’s a sad day indeed and a shitty way to end a 12-year franchise.

- Comment on PlayStation Plus price increase announced for new customers 4 weeks ago:
So single player games are only on PS5 now and then they raise the price of PlayStation Plus.
Sony can go fuck themselves.
I still can’t believe people pay for the opportunity to play online through Sony. Imagine having to pay Steam to be able to do multiplayer stuff online. Sure you get outdated games for free. I had PS+ for many years until about 5 years ago. I rarely ever played the free games I got.
- Comment on Nintendo is raising the price of the Switch 2, blaming 'market conditions' 1 month ago:
Nothing like paying even $50 more to play games that you’ve already played for the last 15 to 20 years and also repaying for those games, spending between $50 and $70 fucking dollars US for the privilege.
Nintendo have lost their goddamn minds.
Don’t bother buying a Switch or a Switch 2 if you’ve already got a gaming PC. Just emulate that shit.
- Comment on Switch 2 demand appears to be flagging as Nintendo reportedly lowers production 2 months ago:
Why would I spend that much for a system only to play the same games I’ve already played on five other fucking systems? If you look at all the games you can play on switch 2 right now nearly all of them are from previous generation consoles.
And if that’s not bad enough, they charge full fucking price for the remakes too. You want to play a game that came out 15 years ago on the Wii? Well get ready to pay 60 fucking dollars for the privilege of paying for the same game for the third time.
Oh but you wanted to play in 4K? Cough up another $10 or $20 for the switch 2 upgrade.
Nintendo is smoking some serious fucking crack when it comes to the pricing of their shit.
Fuck all that. Get a steam deck or similar machine that can also play PC games and can emulate anything from the switch one or Wii U.
I recently almost purchased a switch 2, but after seeing the pricing structures and the lack of new original titles, I said no. I’m currently playing breath of the wild in the Cemu emulator at 4K with all the bells and whistles including surround sound using the gaming laptop that I purchased 2 years ago. Game plays flawlessly and fully supports my dual sense controller that I already own. Saved myself a ton of money.
- Comment on Sony fighting $2.7 billion UK lawsuit over PlayStation Store prices 3 months ago:
Holy shit! I take it these lawyers have never seen the Nintendo store. Talk about insane pricing. $60-$70 for a game that was remade from a previous generation console?
$10-$20 for a Switch 2 upgrade to play the game made for the hardware that you purchased? At least Sony gives most of these upgrades for free.
As bad as you might think Sony is, Nintendo is way worse.
