A rookie mistake. Never let them know you aren’t busy.

Sad/. They have better games to develop than Fallout.

- Comment on GOG seemingly shares that they are considering physical PC 'big box' games. Maybe? 6 days ago:
I can’t say I want to pay extra for these large boxes with extra stuff, but smaller and regular disks like this I would definitely consider:

That’s the joke.
- Comment on Anon is a nostalgic gamer 1 week ago:
On one hand it’s nostalgia, on another - over-fixation on a certain type of games that are designed to be addictive and drain your wallet. But there are many other games to play that are nothing like that.
- Comment on If Steam were to shut down tomorrow how much money would you have lost in total on games / DLC ?? 1 week ago:
Zero. I cannot convert these games to money anyway.
- Comment on Poll: Will you buy GTA 6 when it launches on your platform? 1 week ago:
I was thinking about “no, I won’t” because two other answers are talking about day 1 purchases. But yeah, it’s closer to “maybe” or “unsure”.
- Comment on Poll: Will you buy GTA 6 when it launches on your platform? 1 week ago:
The thing is: I am interested. I just want to wait for a week or two, hear what real people think. Magazines and YouTube reviewers cant be trusted imo. So I might buy it, but I’m not planning to buy it on the launch day.
- Comment on Poll: Will you buy GTA 6 when it launches on your platform? 1 week ago:
Since there is no such answer in the poll, I’ll just comment: no, I won’t.

Well this is why Tim finds this practice irresponsible. I suspect he might have some inside knowledge about how this affects game developers and sales.

I say it’s irresponsible and petty to keep Alan Wake 2 an Epic Store exclusive.

Because what matters is what customers think - and many people hate AI.

Seemingly nothing. Discounts on the items on my wishlist are rather mild.

- Comment on Is gaming better as a kid or an adult? 2 weeks ago:
As you said, there are pros and cons. A child’s brain is something else, I remember excitement and curiosity that an adult’s brain just cannot replicate. I don’t think I’ll ever feel what I felt when I played Half-Life or World of Warcraft for the first time. Games are still enjoyable though - just in a different way.

- Comment on What do you think about the dead internet theory? 2 weeks ago:
I agree, in principle, that people call other people bots as a way to insult them. But this is just survivorship bias:
Bots are relatively easy to detect

Some bonuses that come with the ultimate edition.
- Comment on GTA 6 Price Finally Confirmed, Features a 'Single-Player Experience' at Launch 2 weeks ago:
The ultimate edition doesn’t include anything important, but the whole premise that they can charge $20 for something that is already in the game and is artificially hidden from you doesn’t spark joy in my heart. I was going to wait for independent reviews anyway, but with this nonsense I’ll probably wait for a solid discount too. Besides, I don’t expect good performance on my non-pro PS5.
- Comment on Steam Machine pricing announced (from $1049-$1428 USD), reservation lists open 2 weeks ago:
That’s not bad at all given the market. If I needed a PC, I’d definitely consider Steam Machine.

- Comment on GOG when available, but what should I choose between PS5 physical and Steam when not? 2 weeks ago:
I treat any digital platform - and for all practical purposes, that includes disks these days - more or less equally. Realistically, what are you going to do if you have 200+ games on GOG and the company “becomes evil”? Download them all and store them on your hardware until the rest of your life? It would be easier to pirate a game from your lost collection when you need it. I personally see little value in DRM-free games because of that. Besides, GOG doesn’t even support Linux.
PS5 discs have some advantages though:
- Retail-store discounts can go very low.
- Or you can buy used discs.
- And you can resell your discs.
I’m in a similar position, and I simply wishlist games and buy them when there’s a discount on either platform.
- Comment on Ubisoft Co-Founder Claude Guillemot Dies In Plane Crash 2 weeks ago:
Commercial aviation is much safer than cars because there are strict procedures and oversight that applies to everyone involved - not only pilots, but the entire operational chain. It isn’t exactly the same when it comes to small business jets.

I wouldn’t be surprised if many of these people are, in fact, banned on reddit because of this behavior.
- Comment on EU Commission meets behind closed doors with Ubisoft, other corporations, and exhibits blatant corruption. 3 weeks ago:
I don’t find your examples particularly relevant and convincing, but that’s off-topic. You’re totally right that communicating with involved parties is normal and does not ‘exhibit blatant corruption.’ To be fair, the original article doesn’t claim that it is. OP just wanted to rage bait everyone.
- Comment on Rough date 3 weeks ago:
I wouldn’t pay too much attention to that last part. The story is either fake or it is exaggerated to make it funny. In either case, vodka isn’t something a normal person would drink, let alone right before a date.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
What a waste of time it was. A game about nothing where nothing happens. How the mighty have fallen.
Vampyr and Banishers were interesting though. Rough, but interesting.
