The founding fathers studied the laws and constitution of other countries all too well and knew exactly what NOT to do and warned against fuhrious fatties. Everybody says America sucks but are still fighting to get here (legally or illegally). Cause it sucks so much!

Threatening to throw someone in jail if they speak ill against a politician IS a restriction of free speech. How else do you restrict free speech? Wtf are you saying?

She’s the bully. The user who made that comment is the victim. Its one thing to call someone fat, its a totally different thing to throw them in a prison cell.
If she wants justice, just reply to that comment and call the commenter a fatass too. There problem solved!

If they want to arrest someone for calling a politician fat, They are WORSE THAN ICE! That’s not professional at all. A professional does not get deterred by random internet comments calling them fat.
And I don’t care what the laws are in Germany, they just suck.

Wtf does that mean? “free speech” literally means the ability to air ideas without the threat of violence or persecution. So yes, free speech should not come with any legal consequence.

Fox News is a reliable source. They’re not some fringe alternative news outlet.

People threatening to imprison members of the public just because they insulted one of their politicians. That definitely sounds like Nazi behavior to me.

The nazis engaged in propaganda and punished people who spoke ill against their politicians. This is Nazi behavior. And since we’re in modern times, they are “Neo Nazis”. Neo means “new”.

The news articles paraphrases the original comment (which is probably now deleted)

Spreading of lies is called defamation. And that’s illegal everywhere.

Yeah freedom of speech SHOULD apply worldwide. Do you support North Korea?
- Comment on Angry fattie German politician sends Gestapo to arrest person who called her fattie 2 days ago:
Lmao GAB is an American platform. They have no obligation to cooperate with Neo-Nazis from Germany ordering them to turn over personal information to imprison an innocent internet user. In fact GAB did the right thing by protecting that person.
Calling a politician is not “defamation”. Are you high, friend?

They just added “sexualized and denigrated” to make it sound more important. In the original comment, it was just calling her fat. Plus even if the comment sexualized and denigrated, is that a reason to take someone’s basic freedom away and throw them in a prison cell?
