The study builds on previous research that has found evidence of coronavirus infection among white-tailed deer in Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania.
So sounds like the deer could be hosts to the virus and mutate it, but how does it pass to humans? Do you need to eat the deer? Get up real close and have it cough in your face? Sorry if these questions are stupid, but the article didn’t say much about transfer from deer to humans.
