This is not going to work people will distribute linux distros on mesh networks like libremesh or meshtastic networks.

I was just using a feature of the z80 as an example and thank you for your help and if anyone wants to add that functionality in their game to increase performance they can.

Thank you but I already made sure that my games was as efficient as possible and I was asking if I can make my games more performant by adding optional assembly functions to use non standard parts of the cpu and gpu to make sure that my games are at maximum performance, because linux does something similar.

Agreed but what about the parts that are not standard in cpus today

I said I think because I do not know how much assembly the game uses all I know is it is a big amount because with linux part of it is written in assembly so it can use the nonstandard parts of the cpu and the cpu features of the ps3 were not standard at the time.

No it is not, they are really fun and the games that are not text based they can run on anything that is compatible with opengl 3.0 and the text based games they can run on anything, I tested it with a really slow cpu.
