  I don’t care what Internet people think of me. I wrote nothing untoward and have been respectful in this conversation. No where have I said I don’t like her, I only said she’s a bad character fitting the Mary Sue archetype in my opinion and I have reasonable hope that SFA will be better than Disco. I can live with what I wrote. If you draw the conclusion that I am sexist, then that’s your opinion.

  If you do not want to see my opinions, feel free to block me and forget I exist. This is not worth your time or mine.

  Saru is awesome, and Doug Jones is a genius actor. I think he has the most character growth in the show.

  My point is Micheal isn’t a good character in my opinion and I’m hopeful the writers won’t have another character like her in Academy. If you disagree that’s cool, reasonable minds can differ. And if you really disagree, go ahead and block me.

  I want Trek to both be good TV and a good representation of Roddenberry’s vision of the future. I’m glad I watched Disco, it brought new life into the fandom.

  I thought I was being clear and referring to Micheal, who always somehow seems to know the solution to every problem, outside of her stated specialty of xeno-anthropology.

  I know Disco was trying to be different from the other shows where there was focus on one character and not the main crew ensemble. I think that was a mistake and it looks like SFA is doing better about being an ensemble cast.

  Why were you think I was referring to Saru?

  It doesn’t seem quite like Disco with an over focus on just one Mary Sue, so I’m hopeful.

  Since all British passports are issued in the name of the Sovereign and he has the Crown he just sort of waves a hand and other countries pretend that’s alright since he can’t really holiday to the south of France.

  I am calling it. The reason Bones and Mbenga know each other will be not for both being respected doctors but because they use the same divorce attorney.

  I’d say so long as you are meeting your responsibilities in real life, go ahead and post. If you flood people’s feed, they can just filter the noise out. I’d still suggest you go and do something else outside of the Internet, but that’s my suggestion to everyone.
