…put it in an IV bag and mainline that shit instead!
- Comment on I turned 30 yesterday but I look 18. Nobody believes me when I tell them my age. What do I do? Do I date a 20 year old guy or a 35 year old guy who looks twice my age? 4 days ago:
I hope you’re doing better now <3
My suggestion would be to date whoever you like and have a good connection with without worrying how it will be perceived by others.

It’s short-sighted not to realize that treating people with dignity will improve their motivation and productivity. My work also has a generous policy for time off, but my colleagues are still considerate when they use it by making sure the important things are done before they leave and that the rest of us will be able to handle things in their absence. There will always be a handful of people who abuse the privilege, but they need to be dealt with individually.
From my observation, the types to work late and have no time off either take an immense satisfaction in working or are avoiding something to come home to.

What’s infuriating is that having no work-life balance is promoted as a positive. Sure there are people who are really devoted to their work and thrive on it, but that should be seen as voluntary and not expected. Working long hours also doesn’t necessarily mean you are working efficiently or using your full potential the entire time.

The comedown after ovulation is probably the closest thing women experience to post-nut clarity.

- Comment on What is the difference between a platonic and a romantic relationship? 1 week ago:
Generally speaking, I would define romantic relationships as those where attraction is experienced (not necessarily acted upon) and where there is exclusivity, with the exception of non-monogamous relationships. A good relationship should have all the benefits of friendship, but also a mutual desire, often sex and other intimate touch, and the expectation that you will reserve those feelings and contact for each other.

You can try adhesive padded bra inserts that look like this but I’m not sure how well they actually work.

Considering the popularity of the tuna casserole, a tuna lasagna could be good if that’s your taste. It doesn’t sound appealing to me personally, but don’t let that discourage you.

That’s a sweet and comforting sentiment <3
On a side note, I never liked the term “big girl job”. Just feels infantilizing and not in a cute way.

Observe how they treat people who they don’t benefit from in financial, sexual, or other material ways. Don’t rush to be too generous with them.

Fun fact: a gram of plutonium contains about 20 billion calories. Yum.
- Comment on Can an American go to Europe just for cheaper healthcare? 4 weeks ago:
Medical tourism is a real thing. Whether you will pay less than you would in the US will depend on the country you go to and the procedure. Without insurance you are still likely to pay a lot of money at a private clinic. You also have to factor in whether you will need follow-up appointments and plan for complications because those costs plus the costs of multiple overseas trips and living accommodations will add up.

I missed out on “not pooping for a week” being the hot topic but there is more potential for funny answers to that than whatever is going on with moths and beans right now. And if you want to not poop for a week, I’ve heard opioids are effective.

It’s true that people do develop a tolerance to caffeine if they drink it regularly, but even when I didn’t drink it often, I didn’t feel a difference after having a coffee in the morning and or if I drank some late at night in an attempt to stay up later.

It must be so nice to be in the category of people who are able to be energized or kept awake by caffeine :(

- Comment on What do you have to wake up to to be considered a heavy/light/normal sleeper? 5 weeks ago:
A light sleeper just means that your sleep is easily disturbed by small changes in your surroundings (like the turn of a doorknob, a car passing by outside, a text message to a phone on vibrate). There isn’t a strict criteria for it.

Either people who see positive results equate “more” with “better”, or plastic surgery doesn’t fix the underlying insecurities and self-scrutiny that caused them to get it in the first place.
