The facial sculpt by Dean Tolliver features an enigmatic smile typical of the character, and like a lot of EXO’s sculpts, this one is hard to capture just in photographs.

S-tier satire of the conservative “Trekkie” (please Gene, I hope you’re being satirical). I always think of Douglass Adam’s “rules” on growing old:
- Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
- Anything that’s invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
- Anything invented after you’re thirty-five is against the natural order of things.
Anytime someone says Star Trek’s progressivism was never “hamfisted” I usual just point them to the after school special that is Let that be your Last Battlefield:

That’s great, Etsy has allowed their marketplace to become overrun with slop, it’s nice to see the handmade stuff still around and getting love.

I agree but at the same time I am impressed with how much development she and other less-central characters have been able to get in these short seasons.

Here’s the fan film this documentary is about. I tend to enjoy watching many of the fan films that aren’t just 90% weird CGI but this one somehow avoided my radar completely.
