This was a very nice shave, and again I’m surprised Apogee isn’t more popular.

Shave so nice, I’ve done it twice

Software firsts for today’s shave in Cella and Queen, and a Gillette 7 O’Clock Sharpedge (yellow). Cella is super easy to lather, and has a very good lather all in all. Leaves the face very neutral too, maybe just a bit on the drier side, but not too much. It also smells amazing albeit very low scent strength. Marzipan or sour cherries, depending on how you’re wired. NO aftershave also feels really nice and Queen smells pretty much like how I imagined it. Works really well with Cella, although I have to see what else in my den fits it.
The blade was also a new experience. Very smooth, other than it having glue dots this is the best blade I’ve tried. Does anyone know if they’re still made in Russia? I have a 5blade tuck from 2023 that’s from there, and I’m honestly thinking about just getting a lifetime supply

SV is really really good
first time I used it and the lather is easily on par with most other soaps I have. A bit drying on the skin, but once I rinsed off properly and applied the balm it was fine. Moarteen for the theme, Dirtyver because it’s a green scent, lemon lime balm because the packaging is green

- Brush: Semogue 820
- Razor: GreenCult 2.0 III
- Blade: Bic Astor Stainless
- Lather: D. R. Harris - Arlington shave soap
- Post Shave: Denim Original splash, Dr. K. Lemon & Lime aftershave balm
- Fragrance: Hermes - H24 EdP
Denim and H24 really work well together. Quick shave and off to my aunt’s for a belated Easter lunch

Razor gud, lather not as good as I wanted but perfectly serviceable. Wanted to stay on @BossHoggins10@sub.wetshaving.social’s suggested theme today so I went with green soap (Dr. K’s Peppermint shave soap), green razor (MOARteen), and green splash (Proraso green).
What I can say about the razor: it’s sharp enough to shave comfortably, the tang is plenty grippy even without jimping due to the rough finish, which was honestly an apprehension of mine, and even though the blade is a relatively large format at 15/16, the grind makes it lighter than I expected while being very stiff feeling.

Quick shave today, Palmolive and the SOC made sure of a great lather with 0 effort, and plate 3 of the razor got me to a quick 2 pass BBS. Some minor weepers along the jaw but nothing to write home about

Used plate III today as I had 5 days of growth to eliminate. I forgot just how smooth and efficient it is, albeit probably too aggressive for more regular use.

Lather is Dr. K’s Peppermint shave soap Very good soap imo, and it’s a very hard puck Haven’t used my pig brush in a while, I forgot how good it feels. Much stronger backbone than my badger and also very soft hairs. Image

Shitty picture taken in a big hurry today, but a good shave. Antiga Barberia de Bairro makes good cream and Cologne Russe is great

Dude get one of these if you can find one. It’s extremely comfy to hold and the hair is really good, at least it feels like it on my skin. You might still be able to find some if they aren’t sold out. I think Oneblade brushes are Thaters too, but I don’t know about long-term availability or whether they’ll switch suppliers or whatever.

I love this brush. It’s broken in nicely after a dozen uses or so and it’s very plush. Denim and Dirtyver go together really well too.

Have to agree with DJ. In this case if the scenter is considered to be the same, the artisan has to as well. Either that or interpret artisan as brand, in which case anything not branded stubble buster can only be used for scent notes

Yeah, they mention the type of bronze and if you google it, it shows up as an alu bronze, but no mention otherwise.

Timeless razors make an aluminium bronze razor.
