You should also install custom firmware into your Wii U to make the most out of its hardware with emulators, ROM hacks, Pretendo Network, RiiConnect24/Wiimmfi in the virtual Wii mode, and heck, even installing Linux in an SD card if you ever feel like it!
And as for the custom firmware guide, follow wiiu.hacks.guide, and NEVER follow YouTube tutorials, as they’re often out of date and straight up incorrect most of the time.

Maybe… I don’t have enough info to know if it’s possible… also keep in mind that some Switch games were already available on Wii U though (Mario Kart 8, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Mario 3D World, etc.)

You mean suyu then, not suzu, and there’s no suyu for the Wii U as the Switch has an ARM CPU, and the Wii U is PowerPC. I already have a Switch though (it’s running Kubuntu btw) and I may try a Switch emulator on this ThinkPad with the integrated graphics or my Android phone (Google Pixel 7a) someday…

It’s running the Aroma custom firmware, and as for Linux, I haven’t tried running it in the Wii U (yet).
