  This is incredible what you do ! I also saves some webpage thata are important to me, but still have the URL saved in my booksmarks, as duplicate entry if you like.

  Because they are important, I have an organised collection of bookmarks which can be saved and archived outside the browser. A bookmark list is just a structured html page that any browser can export, import and share, unlike tabs. I have lot of themed bookmarks folder, for the future.

  With so much work to organise your tabs, why make you not use bookmarks instead ? Do you have a lot of RAM and SSD on your computer to save all your tabs ? Your browser needs to keep a copy in RAM for you. The more tabs, the slower your browser runs.

  Your way to manage you tabs is really close to managing bookmarks. It takes time and effort. And categorzing them goes against clutter ! What is your criteria to move a webpage to a bookmark ? I use bookmadks in the toolbar, so they are all accessible and well organized. They are not tab, just a list of pages in different folders (folder = tab group)

  Making connections is everywhere, here as well as at a grocery store ( for example), because you start talking to someone and you never knows what will happen. Do what you like to do or react to any post or irl talks. You will may be not get work, but making you known works in the long run. Especially if you do good job, people remembers you.

  Hi,

  I’m hald-european, half-asian. from y expeiebce, blending in is an obvious choice. But I reallized, I’m not really asian, because I have european traits and references, and I’m not really european because I’ve asean traits and references. You will not be really part of any and both at the same time. You want to belong to a group, that’s understandable. But you are in between, or better said you are the bridge between these groups. This is what’s defining you. You can be part of each of them, using what you know about one group, and add spice or knowledge from the other. you are more that one group.

  My experience, and I had a former superior who also was between 2 cultures : we don’t really fit in to one pot. we are our own pot :)

  My german side love a nice german beer, but my vietnamese side loves viet coffee. I love Frankfurter, Nürnberger, Müncher sausages in a bread, but I can’t help my self with Cha Gio.

  Go to group that are accepting you. And if they don’t, too bad for them, there are plenty other groups, until you find your balance. And may be it means being in ultiple groups at the same time, and that’s really really fine.

  From my understanding, you can’t post to an instance, until someone from that instance either subscribes to your lemmy account or the community or search for it. This will force the intance to pull your post to that instance.
