I did have something constructive to add, though, I’m explaining your instance’s philosophy because I see some revisionism in the community.

If you are from another instance, you may participate in discussions, but remain respectful. Realize that your comments will inevitably be associated with your instance by many lemm.ee users.
says right there on the sidebar that we are explicitly allowed to comment here. I’m sorry you feel that I’m a troll for citing your admin’s post explaining the instance’s philosophy shrug-outta-hecks

Another user who signed up in the instance that is specifically supposed to federate with all other instances and only defederate as a last resort who… really doesn’t like being federated with other instances? I’m trying to be respectful here, literally just reminding you of why your instance exists and how your admins think.

You can have a differing opinion, but I don’t know how far you’re gonna get in becoming an admin when you fundamentally differ on the philosophy of the instance. Hell, that’s probably a very valid reason why your admins weren’t letting random users apply to become admins, because it seems a lot of people don’t get it.

If you’re gonna volunteer to be a moderator or admin for your instance you probably should brush up on its philosophy regarding other instances first.

Holy brsh! I bet they’re going to do really shocking and gross things, break the 4th wall, have the heroes blur the lines of morality and incite the audience to question whether the good guys are really all that different from the villains after all, and then cap it all off with the death of a major character that nonetheless returns the plot to where it started.
What would really not be in my bingo card is if the story moves forward in a meaningful way that isn’t just hanging
TrumpHomelander in front of the audience as an existential threat and saying “dude this time he’s really gonna do it, he’s gonna do the really bad thing” while the status quo is still magically preserved. Nothing Ever Happens.
