Den tour part 3
Signature soaps a Capra unscented
Can’t believe I did a June to end of August run with this soap back in 22 as an unscented lather games to AA self challenge.
Unscented soaps suck, but the performance is good. By far the best UK artisan in my book. Also looking how little is left it’s probably going to be my next kill attempt.
Unscientific den ranking so far
- Wickham ninfeo di Egeria

Den tour shave 2
Same gear bar soap.
Caries bubbles - la marche du rasage Aquatic fougere is probably how I’d see this soup. It has a green base with a very watery top. It’s the only caties I own and is a little sample jar that I got early in my r/ days from kammander Kim in a pif or Christmas secret Santa. It gives me a bit of irritation which I always thought was the oakmoss but then varen doesn’t so it must be one of the other notes.

I agree. You can cover pretty much all types of scent and have some variety.
Given my stash includes MWF and MdC I’m probably set for life.

MOAR NEW feather
Going to take a break before my tub kill to run through the den. Its pretty big for a normal person but probably small for this community.
I cleared most of the samples last year so I’m going to ignore the last few of those that I have - which leaves me with 20 soaps ( and 3 in transit/parked with onion).
I can’t remember when I got each so it’s going to be a rough chronological order from my early purchases through to today.
- Wickham soap co. - ninfeo di eregia or however it’s spelled.
A light, bright floral scent. Middling soap quality though.

Will have to see what’s low. I have a feeling it’s soft heart sandalwood.
If I do do that I’ll scoop and keep a small sample which I did for reserve cool.

Ring had been smashed to the middle of the tub. Not long now. (Spoiler it’ll probably be end of Feb given how little I shave)

SSL kill continues the ring of death remains stubbornly unbroken and the 1914 still gives a great shave.
Still to get round to posting DJ the scrubty-four but will get there

Nor is SSL
Thrill is.
But a promise is a promise.
Thanks @walden for the smush. Great base and I enjoyed the scent but like DJ I don’t think I picked up on the heavier elements.
Merry chrimbo kids.

Muchos thanks for the oro vaLley.
Warm and comfortable scent but not something that wows me… I’m not the biggest leather fan so no surprises there.

I mean isn’t the point of the MM24 that the 24 head is eld’s favourite. So that’s two of us.
Maybe it’s Swiss efficiency vs Indo-anglo romanticism
