Those are some solid numbers for Mission Impossible; I’ve stopped watching them after the third or the fourth one.

Best option is to try get in via invite forums of another tracker. CG is a good one for TVV, but I get the impression that CG is a pain to get into.

Underwater was good. Nowhere near as good as The Abyss (the extended version), but a good experience nevertheless.
- Comment on ‘Mickey 17’ Gets Max Streaming Release Date (May 23) 2 months ago:
I am biased since I like sci-fi and # Bong Joon Ho, but I thought it was fun and irreverent. It was worth watching in the cinema.
It had some flaws (pacing and certain plot holes), but I felt they they didn’t distract from the core experience.

This is an excellent movie, wholesome and light hearted. I love pre 2000s Jackie Chan.

I am assuming Donahue is “set for life” from the royalties from “Blair Witch Project”. In down to earth way, you can live relatively comfortably and pursue your interests as long as you manage expenses and investments properly.

Not going to read the article (I generally avoid all trailers, previews etc.), but this sounds like something worth checking out.

I should post it. I feel like there will be a lot of feedback. 😄

While I enjoy the later seasons, I can broadly agree with your point.

As weird as it sounds, I liked season 2 TD a lot and on some level I think it’s even better than season 1.
I initially watched season 1, then season 4 (skipped 2 because of the seemingly bad feedback) and then watched season 2.
I really liked that season 2 was more down to earth and had more of a realistic-gritty vibe. I really liked the ending as well. It felt real.
Season 1 was great, but in comparison to season 2 it was more about style. I liked the setup of season 4 (and it was cool to see Jodie Foster), but I didn’t like the ending.
But yes, I do think season 2 of true detective was better than season 1.
- Comment on ‘Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum’ Sets December 2027 Release Date; Warner Bros. Also Dates New ‘Evil Dead’ and M. Night Shyamalan Movies for 2026 2 months ago:
Would be interested in a new Shyamalan movie, but I am not sure what the quality will be like.
He some really good movies (Unbreakable, The Six Senses, The Village, The Visit), but also some trash-level productions.

I know he’s been in other animated kids movies, I still they could find a better option for kids shows, someone with broad experience in making content for children, not an aging rapper.

They really can’t find someone better than Snoop Dogg? Doesn’t seem like he is a good fit for what seems to be a franchise for very young kids.

In that sense, yes. I thought you meant it’s cringe without being funny. It’s a great show.

- Comment on Weekly Episode Releases Are an Outdated, Frustrating Way to Watch TV 3 months ago:
I prefer full seasons releases, but weekly can be OK is some cases.
Also depends how much I like the show. I generally only tolerate weekly if I am big fan, otherwise I just wait till the full season is released.
- Comment on Morpheus Actor Laurence Fishburne Reveals He Was Turned Down for The Matrix Resurrections — So He Might Not Be Back for Matrix 5 Either - IGN 3 months ago:
From the article:
However, there could be a fairly simple explanation there: Morpheus dies in the MMO game The Matrix Online. That specific event in the game is considered canon because the writer-directors, the Wachowskis, gave their approval to the game.

They are developing a new matrix movie?
I watched The Matrix Resurrections at home and I gave up halfway through, still haven’t finished it. There were some cool scenes in the early part of the movie that were almost breaking the fourth wall and seemed to pick up the spirit of the introductory scenes in The Matrix, but Resurrections were quickly started to go down the drain.

There are probably going to be ~10 Minecraft movies over the next ~20 years (if not more)
If kids like it, that’s a top end target market. No parent is going to lecture their child for shit taste. 😆
The children are not going to say “this is an atrocious screen adaption of the spirit of Minecraft, I am extremely disappointed in Jared Hess’ direction and Jason Momoa, who has once again proven himself to be a subpar actor as we saw in his work in See”.
