  It actually goes up to 1280x1024! I know what you mean, you can still find TV’s relatively easily but most people threw away monitors so those are much harder to find. It’s good for gaming because it has theoretically 0 input lag. If you try a retro Nintendo game (where input is important), Even using a 2ms monitor makes noticeable impact compared to a CRT. Tetris attack for example is like night and day on a CRT vs modern TV. It also helps when playing a FPS
