  While the software itself is FOSS, you actually are required to have a subscription (even though they call it donations), otherwise you essentially can’t use any wall box. Check the list of wall boxes for ones without sponsorship, I think there are around 4. Otherwise pretty good, usable even. Just remember that you should have more than $2/Month in excess solar and a car home at said time for it to make financial sense.
