- Comment on Lions are just big cats. They like scratches under the chin and everything. 6 months ago:
I'm no expert, but it looks like someone cut a gorilla out of one picture and pasted it over the lion picture.
- Comment on 6 Reasons So Many Movies Are Struggling At The Box Office In 2024 6 months ago:
Hey! Barbie stayed true to its roots!
It's a brave thing to make a movie out of a music video and we should honour that commitment, not shame it. - Comment on What do you see? 6 months ago:
I see a gorilla and a marmot ready to throwdown.
- Comment on Masochism 6 months ago:
Nurses are treated like shit, by the government, hospital administration and patients alike.
To willingly suffer such constant torment from all sides, one would have to be a masochist. - Comment on Stress 6 months ago:
Not us, that's for sure.
- Comment on Stress 6 months ago:
Uh, poor people tend to have more children than rich people.

To make it look as uncomfortable as it seems.
- Comment on Caves of Qud gets a huge new Beta released with the big UI redesign 7 months ago:
I don't like it. It's not holding my hand tight enough during the introductory phase.
Tried the demo, tinker template, wouldn't let me create a construct because I didn't have projectile ammo.
Engineer, but doesn't even have a flashlight.Bleh.

Depending on who you ask, Deathloop was also a flop.

- Comment on "PSN isn't supported in my country. What do I do?" Arrowhead CEO: "I don't know" 7 months ago:
To be fair to them, I don't know either.
- Comment on Are you also able to stutter in sign languages? 7 months ago:
If it's psychological, it might happen sort of. We are quite prone to subconscious suggestions, so someone in a susceptible state of mind could perhaps convince themselves to unintentionally create such a type of stutter.
- Comment on I swear credit card companies make log-ins fail on purpose. 7 months ago:
I know in some cases, login fail is intentional to prevent bots from randomly gaining access to accounts.
Source: some random internet person who said they did as such.
- Comment on Who to vote for? 8 months ago:
You should vote for the cunt that gets stuff done. Because they're all cunts, so you should at least get something out of it.
- Comment on When did breasts become a thing that needed to be concealed in public and why? 8 months ago:
I blame the uptight protestants who needed a severe moral code or something.
Also, for a time period, in some tropical places bare breasts supposedly meant a prostitute was working.
I think that in Korea, up to the early 20th century, women of age were topless to show they weren't married. Covered up meant they were no longer free? Need a source on it for specifics if anyone cares to search.
And it was in an African tribe i think that the opposite happened. Bare breasts meant a mother that was actively breastfeeding.
It's all foggy memories though, so accuracy is low.
- Comment on What characterizes feminine strength? 8 months ago:
Oh yeah. Yin and Yang. Feminine and masculine types of energy. Gentle and brusque.
Described as a type of philosophical way of life, the theory suggests neither can do without the other. Full Yin extinguishes, full Yang destroys. Together, they temper the opposite, as equals. - Comment on Why don't passanger airplanes come with parachutes for people? 8 months ago:
Come on. When you have companies like Boeing unwilling to even build a plane right, you'd actually expect them to add parachutes and not cheap out on them?
Let's be serious here. - Comment on Have you ever seen coal in real life? 8 months ago:

- Comment on Weekly “What are you playing” Thread || Week of March 24th 8 months ago:
Pathfinder: Kingmaker. If anything, it's long. I though about doing replays with other character types, but its long campaign has me tired of going through it again any time soon and I still have a chapter to go. Whenever that starts. I'll probably finish it next weekend if i have time.
- Comment on Are game studios suddenly abandoning Black developers? 8 months ago:
Assassin's Creed Odyssey? Or Origin? Too many of them, don't know.
Watchdogs 2.
Most games with a customizable main character.
Mafia 3.
Crysis 2 and sort of 3?
Some platformers I can't name because it's not my genre.
That 80s Kingdom offshoot.
Does Crusader Kings 3 have African leaders enabled or does it come as a DLC?
Civilization series.Representation of any demographic in games should be done by those who have an interest in doing it well.
Doing it just to pad the numbers is more insulting than even not doing it at all. - Comment on [deleted] 8 months ago:

WebMD says it's a brain tumor. Or an ear infection. Or lupus. But it's almost never lupus.
- Comment on If the agreed upon age of the Universe is updated from 13 billion years old to 26 billion years old how does that affect Science and Astrophysics? 8 months ago:
This changes everything!!!
Think of the rate of decay!
Think of the motion!
Think of the odds of finding life!
Think of the light!
Think of time itself!
We were nothing before, but we are doubly nothing now, which is much worse!

I think John Goodman replaced Russell Crowe.
- Comment on How can a person be very sad, irritated or angry and still not show it on their face ? 9 months ago:
After years of staring at a CRT monitor and increased sensitivity to light, I have developed a resting bitch face that acts out mostly on particularly sunny days.
I highly don't recommend it. I loved staring at the sky.
