Plus add in the fact it's Beta and the lack of knowledge of what Federation would actually mean if it was two way right now probably helps as well.

Will do. So far I am having a one way experience. I can find my Threads account from here but I can't find here from there if I search. I haven't tried following yet though to see.

Enabled it on my Threads account I use to just test. After enabling the beta I am about to search for my Threads profile from my local instance.

More like migrating my setup down the line. I run my stuff off a Mastodon server seperately. How do I migrate my current setup from one to the other.
Account movement might be concidered a different thing to what I mean.

My big question would be what a transition path from Mastodon to Akkoma + Mangage would look like. I have concidered transitioning from Mastodon to Pleroma, but if this is better than that would be something to concider.
