  What’s with these top union people being so blatantly stupid, näive and gullible? The conservatives of pretty much every western country are liars, all of them. How stupid do you have to be to believe the word of people who lie so much it’s basically their brand at this point.

  Thankfully I don’t think we have Walmart store brand milk here in Canada. We also don’t allow hormones either.

  Here in Canada rule is generally that you speak one of the two official languages when working (English or French). I would think the same thing would go for whatever other country you’re in. Official language(s) only.

  It works really well. You have to add a bit more water to the sauce as well as it will thicken quite a bit. I usually just kind of eyeball it.

  During (and after) COVID I did, however, use some vegan tricks to make my food budget go farther. Specifically, using tvp to stretch out the amount of ground beef I needed to buy. I buy medium ground beef and use about half as much as I would usually use, then I add in tvp which absorbs the fat from the ground beef and takes on its flavour. This works especially well for any dish requiring ground beef in a sauce. Disclaimer: tvp is made from soy.
