- Comment on Any ideas as to why they choose a dinosaur symbol to tell you this? 1 day ago:
Say this is a joke?
The developers chose the dinosaur theme as a reference to the game’s function, a joke that not having an internet connection is equivalent to living in the “prehistoric ages”.
- Comment on California is debating whether or not to remove the bike lane on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. During the public hearing, a politician was driving his car 1 day ago:
It was scheduled. He could have taken measures, He could have parked for a while . This somehow is his job…
I do take calls in the car but when I need to focus on the call I either ask to call back or park. If I don’t need to focus that means the call isn’t important enough to keep it going for too long.
- Comment on what's the best material for wiping out a cast iron skillet? 3 days ago:
I’ve found brushes with natural bristles (not sure of the material but the handle is made out of wood) to hit the sweet spot between abrasive and gentil on the coating.

- Comment on Why are American cops allowed to be morbidly obese? 2 months ago:
Exact. I started working out to lose weight and turned from slightly over weight to obese. I lost a decent amount of fat but gained a lot of weight building up muscle mass. 12 kg in about a year. BMI sucks.
- Comment on Can you read and understand this passage? 2 months ago:
Yeah, the real struggle my kids deal with is dyslexia. But I know that even a dyslexic van be bitten by the reading virus so I still have hope.

Jup, Caileeh for sure.
- Comment on Can you read and understand this passage? 2 months ago:
Yes. But I van imagine my children being clueless. English is our third language but I think that’s not the issue. They just haven’t read enough. They are consumers and aren’t accustomed to active reading.

You juggle all you want in any park. Just don’t make it weird. Of there are tombstones in said park, it’s not for juggling.

He’s not wrong. A judge can rule if there’s a trial and that judge will always have to apply the law.

- Comment on There's a new toll I'll have to pay to drive anywhere. 7 months ago:
Mass transit is necessary here because the city has an old layout not designed for cars and so it wouldn’t be able to function if everyone had to drive.
Cities shouldn’t be designed for cars. They should be designed for people. I get it. They’ve added a tax and that’s inconvenient. I agree.
I live in a European city with a medieval layout. I’m happy they started banning cars. Our city is more liveable without than with cars.
- Comment on Is road or rail more expensive? 7 months ago:
Yeah… You’re not speaking generally, are you? Because in most EU countries, rail ise is subsidised.
- Comment on Powdered drink mix without water? Assuming you drink a lot of water. 7 months ago:
Sorry, litteral translation. English isn’t my mother tongue.
It’s about two gallons to get acute symptoms but just drinking loads of water for a long time can get your sodium levels dangerously low. Anyway, just take care. Too much of anything is… too much.
- Comment on Powdered drink mix without water? Assuming you drink a lot of water. 7 months ago:
It’s unhealthy to drink tons of water. Water poisoning is real. When you drink too much water you purge minerals and other useful substances out of your body.

- Comment on Does the USA simply have no food safety standard at all? 7 months ago:
Soup in plastic bags is the standard in most industrial kitchens all over the world.
Especially when you heat them ‘au bain marie’ it’s safe-ish. I don’t store food in plastic containers because even food grade plastic leaches but it’s generally allowed.
