Chromebooks have a special bios, it works with a chip on the motherboard to detect if chromeos is running or if some unverified is is running. If chromeos isn’t running, it displays a warning message on boot. This behavior cannot be disabled.

You can; however it will always show a message that leaves you a keypress away from nuking your system on boot

I still use Firefox; their bullshit is less egregious than Chrome’s and they are Chrome’s only challenger. The ai features don’t even come in to play unless you actually choose to use them.

Arcadium 3: Space Odyssey - I’ve been playing the phone version. It’s a horde fighting survival game set in space - you pilot a spaceship to harvest planets, buy items, and fight aliens to level up, unlock missions and ships, and acquire artifacts to help you survive better. The developer has 2 other space themed arcade games.

Arcadium 1 is about as linear as it gets. Its kind of like that game Aero Fighter from the 90s, mixed with Space Invaders. Just shoot the aliens and dodge their shots. On the way, there are gems and power ups that can make your future forays more rewarding.

I suspect the real reason they are doing this is to condition the students to accept oppressive and unjust surveillance in future workplaces.
