I moved to lemmy.ca in response to this nonsense.
I’m sick of mod abuse and censorship.
- Comment on Piracy related communities removal 7 months ago:
Everything about it was above board, but useful idiots don’t like acknowledging how they’re being taken advantage of.
I see it all the time because it’s the norm.
- Comment on Piracy related communities removal 7 months ago:
Yeah. They’re liars.
Everyone should jump ship sooner rather than later.
There are clear bad actors on the admin team. There is no hope for lemmy.world.

It was good at first, but it’s clear corporate interests have infested the admin team.
I don’t have any hope for it now and just encourage other people to move to different instances. I just moved to lemmy.ca in response to this.
This is the glory of federation, after all. Don’t give abuse mods power!
- Comment on Piracy related communities removal 7 months ago:
Absolutely. It’s clear lemmy.world has been infiltrated by bad actors with an agenda.
We cannot trust them. They are not here for us. All they do is serve their agenda, which in this case is looking out for corporations.
I’ve also seen a ton of censorship surrounding Israel. People literally getting banned for comparing Israel to Nazi Germany.
It’s not looking good.

Awful decision, but I just moved to lemmy.ca because of it.
Censorship is a bad thing. Let users control what they want to see instead of corporate overlords and their useful idiots.
I encourage everyone to get off of lemmy.world as quickly as possible.

Imagine if Obama had said or done even half that much.
Democrats like to save doing things for elections.
Just look at marijuana and gay marriage.

We need to know more about the psychology of the mass killer.
I genuinely don’t get why people are confused about someone who feels like they have nothing to live for taking their frustrations out on society.
Like, what is so confusing about that? Why is it so difficult for you to understand?
- Comment on [deleted] 7 months ago:
I think framing it as a ‘mental health’ issue puts all the blame on the individual.
It’s not a ‘mental health’ epidemic. Society is broken and more people are realizing it every day.
These problems will only get worse as the disparity in wealth continues to grow and more people feel like they have nothing to live for as a result.

I was just thinking about it.
I think the motive was the guy was angry at the world and wanted to kill as many people as possible before killing himself.
A man that feels he has nothing to lose is a dangerous thing.
