A lot of airports are designed in a hub and spoke configuration where each spoke is lettered. You may have the A spoke, B spoke, and C spoke. Gates on these spokes are numbered sequentially starting at the hub. Gate A1 is right next to the hub and Gate A40 is near the end. Usually, there are two TV screens between most gates. One for arrivals, one for departures. Flights are listed by destination and time. Figure out where you are, figure out where you need to be. Find the correct spoke and then find the correct gate. There are shops and restaurants everywhere in case you need anything, but everything is super expensive (captive audience). Stay hydrated.
