Oh, that would be a good rewatch.
I rewatched Reservoir Dogs last year or so for the first time in like 15 years and it was amazing.

I’m a bit sick so I comfort watched Rush Hour 1 and 2 last night.
Some aspects didn’t age great, but they’re still really fun movies for 90’s sensibilities.

Loved his movies as a kid. Glad to hear he cleaned up.

- Comment on Francis Ford Coppola: ‘Megalopolis’ cast purposefully includes ‘canceled’ actors 3 months ago:
First I’m hearing about it but I’ve always hated that smug motherfucker. One time, like 20 years ago, he went on Conan’s show on NBC and came out and like immediately just started trashing Conancs show for not having nicer chairs. Like, what the fuck. And it wasn’t even done in a way that was funny, just very entitled. Conan played through it so well, though, but I hated him ever since. Glad he’s catching shit for what he did.

Which classics were produced recently, especially blockbuster ones?
Genuinely curious. I think he’s right and I hate the cape movie culture in terms of consumers, but I stay away from theaters and watch older movies so I kinda don’t really care much.
- Comment on Why are film trailers so bloomin' long? 4 months ago:
I completely agree with this.
I HATE tailers because they spoil shit every time. I don’t watch them. Then again, I don’t really watch any new movies coming out either but I’d rather read 2 sentences on the plot and go for it rather than getting the whole thing spoiled visually. When I was a kid trailers seemed okay, but something changed along the way and they reveal way too much. And I’ve always hated spoilers so I don’t think it was that, I think they started including spoilers at some point.

Does anyone remember a similar side-scrolling game about an indigenous warrior from African tribes that was very aesthetically made by some indie company for PS3?
I’ve been trying to remember the name for a long time but I can never do it.
- Comment on Jenna Ortega Drops Out of ‘Scream VII’ 1 year ago:
Maybe I missed something but it doesn’t seem like that was the reason.
Sources insist that Ortega’s departure has nothing to do with Barrera’s firing, which occurred after she made dozens of social media posts following the Israel-Hamas war. Sources say that Ortega’s representatives informed Spyglass prior to the actors strike that the actress, one of the biggest young Hollywood names to emerge in the past decade, would not be returning. Multiple sources say the actress either had no deal or, in the renegotiating of her option, asked what the movie company deemed was too much money.
