Totally! If I see someone confidently wearing something different from usual, I honestly get inspiration from them. It’s admirable to be comfortable enough with who you are that when you find something you feel great in, you just wear it regardless of how common it is.
- Comment on What is this called? 2 weeks ago:
You can wear anything you want. If people find it strange, that’s on them. I do think it wouldn’t be a common garment but it looks amazing and cozy and practical. I want one really bad, to be honest. I’ve also found that people typically don’t care about anyone else besides themselves which is a little sad but kind of comforting in terms of wearing sick high fantasy cloaks to the local wendy’s.
- Comment on You Too Can Come to the Theater to Watch 70 Minutes of Just Movie Trailers 2 weeks ago:
$3 to chill in a comfy chair and watch fun, interesting trailers for movies that may not be on my radar, with all the glory of a massive screen and theater sound system? Sounds like a fuckin steal to me.

Skyblivion is developed from a place of love, the official remaster is developed from a place of “money please”

I’m sorry, are you implying Paw Patrol is both sexist and fascist or am I missing some important context?

I just meant that it’s kind of a grating sound but it’s not one of those really awful sounds for me, at least.

If you could rig a hinge to the top of the nanner case, you could just fill that bad boy up, pop the lid and pour a banana’s worth of reeses pieces down your gullet.

- Comment on What Can We Do to Get Youth into Ham Radio? 1 month ago:
I’m not a youth but as an outsider who’s seen a few posts from this community, one thing I feel like you guys could focus on a little more is the typical day to day experience of amateur radio operating. What you’re actually doing and not just the tech/setup stuff. That stuff is interesting but w/o the context of what you do once you’re done setting up your radio would be interesting to see more of as someone who is genuinely interested in getting into the hobby.

That’s great, I hope everything works out. I’m not sure how much you follow north american politics but it’s probably not the best time to move to Canada with the ongoing trade war and continuing threats of annexation by the American president. Hopefully someone else can speak to the experience he may have in the other countries on that list, though.

Here’s a good resource: …law.ucla.edu/…/global-acceptance-index-lgbt/
That article specifically calls out Iceland, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Canada as the most accepting countries for people in the LGBTQ community.
I would start by seeing what your son wants. Not to assume you haven’t already done that, of course, but I would take his wishes into account and then go from there.

Is an Xbox Series X a suitable 4k Blu-ray player, assuming I’m using a compatible tv? I know so little about physical media despite being late 30’s and having grown up with it.
