Depends. In my experience, it usually does exist. Now there are hallucinations where GPT makes up stuff or just misinterprets what it read. But it’s super easy to read the GPT output, look at the cited work, skim works for relevance, then tweak the wording and citing to match.
If you just copy/paste and take GPT’s word for it without the minimal amount of checking, you’re digging your own grave.

I uploaded one of my earlier papers that I wrote myself, before AI was really a thing, to a GPT detector site. The entire intro paragraph came back as 100% AI written.

Thai article reminded me to buy (and hopefully beat) KCD before KCDII comes out in Feb 2025.
On the Xbox store, the DLC bundle (no game) was normally $20, but 75% off so it was only $5. The game+DLC bundle was normally $40, but it was 90% off so it was only $4. Easy choice, even if I already had the game and no DLC

about which distro to use and got a range of suggestions but none of them were arch.
I think Debian is usually the strongest contender here.

Well, I did say (emphasis added):
I’d be willing to bet that most aren’t or even know about it. Defederating due to what some admins and where the majority of users don’t know
So are they Nazis if they don’t know they’re sitting at a table with a Nazi? Of course not. That saying only works when they knowingly accept it. It really is as simple as that.

But is everyone there a fascist? Or just some/most admins/mods? If everyone (not just mods, but users too) or most were, sure. I’d be willing to bet that most aren’t or even know about it. Defederating due to what some admins and where the majority of users don’t know sounds like “throwing out the baby with the bathwater.”
- Comment on The lemmy.ml Problem 6 months ago:
And defederating only makes it smaller, unfortunately.

I have left, I just view Reddit…
So you haven’t left Reddit. Like saying you left Google but still Google search without logging in.

Too bad the translation’s not really accurate here. It should say “god damn!” GYATT DAYYUM
tl;dr: gyatt is almost exclusively used to mean, “god damn, phat ass.”
Except it is accurate, in shorthand and meaning. Gyatt started off to mean “god” and people would even say “gyatt damn.” Then it moved to be fully “gyatt dayyum” to mean “god damn” as you noted…and then abbreviated to just “gyatt.”
Then it evolved to the present day where gyatt is mostly used to say, “god damn, that’s a phat ass” or some variation. When something is terrible or your disappointed, you don’t really say “gyatt it” or even “gyatt dayyum it” to mean “god damn it” or if you’re pissed off at someone, you don’t say “gyat you / gyatt dayyum you” to mean “god damn you.” But if someone with a phat ass walks by, you’ll say “GYATT,” to mean "god damn, that’s phat ass.

It’s the whole “if you’re not paying for the product, you are the product.” But I guess the downvoters are perfectly fine with having their data harvested for “free.”

(Pixel 4a Sunfish) I think the release page also doesn’t show any compatible builds since 20121003.
Well, if you read the release page (which you pointed out) it does say:
Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL and Pixel 4a are end-of-life and shouldn’t be used anymore due to lack of most security patches for firmware and drivers. We’re considering porting them to Android 14…
Like I said, Android 14 is out, it’s just not out (and might not ever be out) for an EoL device. The 4a lost Google support 2ish months ago, and GOS even says you shouldn’t use it. Sounds like the perfect time to upgrade to the 8, which has MTE support (which eliminates 70% of CVEs and has 7 years support. endoflife.date/pixel

Is Android 14 available in the Beta Channel?
Beta? GrapheneOS has had stable Android 14 since 08 October. Check out the changelog: grapheneos.org/releases#stable-channel

I’ll third this. Main thing I miss is Tap-to-Pay, but it’s not that hard to carry a card. Some people miss Android Auto, but I’ve never used it.
So I’ll trade some very minor conveniences for increased security and privacy.

For YouTube, NewPipe is an anonymous…
Not quite. From LibreTube’s GitHub page on their differences:
With NewPipe, the extraction is done locally on your phone, and all the requests sent towards YouTube/Google are done directly from the network you’re connected to, which doesn’t use a middleman server in between. Therefore, Google can still access information such as the user’s IP address. Aside from that, subscriptions can only be stored locally.
LibreTube takes this one step further and proxies all requests via Piped (which uses the NewPipeExtractor). This prevents Google servers from accessing your IP address or any other personal data.
Either way, I use a VPN for both.

Get v0.19 or higher
Thanks for that. For some reason I thought it notified on updates automatically like NewPipe does, and I was still on v0.16.1. Oops.
