Are they though? Children have very little autonomy and human rights. They’re essentially property of their parents.

I have no idea what the person I replied to is saying is true or not, but if the issue was rejected and closed by devs, that means the devs don’t want anyone coding it. There’s a difference between devs not wanting to “waste” resources and devs essentially power tripping over what’s a minor change, right?

It’s called a quality of life feature that plenty of other websites use and plenty of people take advantage of. Even though people could hold control or use the middle mouse button, right? So there must be a reason for it, right?

I really loved IMDb back in the day. While the user ratings weren’t perfect, there used to be a formula you could use to figure out the worthiness of a movie to watch. Now (10 years or so), IMDb user ratings are inundated with conservatives and older generations who tend to rate based on their fragile feelings rather than on how watchable a movie is.
