If you have 12$ for a domain name, around 30$ a month for server cost I can walk you through installing your own instance that will run fast and need no new storage for atlease a year or two. Go with dreamcompute and they will never sensor you. They literally hist nazi larty websites. Maintenance is really low. I would love to have more freedom oriented instances to federate with.
If you really don't feel that comfortable I can do the whole thing for you. You just buy the compute instance and domain.
All content on wolfballs can be sent as a copy to your instance where I have no power to delete anything. (Except images because the source file doesn't get sent just the URL)
No closed off garden will ever end the problems with censorship. Not gab, not scored, not truth social. Splitting up the power is the only long term effective way to insure we all have a voice.
If you dig hard enough you will always find something a site admin doesn't feel comfortable hosting but if we split up the responsibility no one will be in the position to choose whether or not to silence anyone for content they can't stomach.
Its the price of a cellphone plan. If you have a raspberry Pi 4 and admin access to your modem we can even do it on that for free.
