Losing this much in 1 or 2 days of a "surprise" attack where Russia claimed air superiority on day 1. Maybe they went to Ukraine to "recycle" their old junk.

Maybe UA is lying. But the White House also came out and said the Russian advance is much slower than they expected.
There's a lot of on the ground videos showing burnt out Russian convoys on the highway. Euromaidan map from yesterday showed the advance near the East and Crimean border didn't get far. Only the invasion from Belarus seemed to be going well, since they reached Kiev.
