Penetration?! Why do we get the feeling that he's hiding something?

  The "penetration" part is because little Klaus Maus is German. Unfortunately a lot Germans, especially older folk have weird English, when they try to translate word by word from German thoughts to English. The same words literally in German would sound much more "normal"

  German has a very "Old English"/Viking feel to it, with literal translations sounding much more brutal than what it actually means in the language.

  Forgive little Klausy his bad English. His ideas are poisonous enough on their own.

    I have no problem stigmatising him with his prculiar pronouncenents - whatever it takes to stop this insidious goblin from spreading his toadstools.
