He will unfortunately lose most of these cases, unless they defamed him with something unrelated to the trial. Barnes briefly represented him, and he did a breakdown of why defamation lawsuits are pointless if you are charged, even if the outcome is Not Guilty.
For example, OJ was declared Not Guilty, but everyone still calls him a murderer. This falls within 1st amendment.
Its sad, but your reputation is legally ruined once you are charged, even if you are innocent.
He has a shot against the ones that truly lied. Some said he killed and or shot at black people for example. The news does not have the right to report false facts. Opinions are protected but you can't report false facts to influence jury pools. Which is what happened here.
