Yeah, but they can't stop you from other forms of trading.
E.g.: imagine not just donors donating by buying junk on ebay and amazon, but also selling shares to truckers at inflated prices so that truckers can resell them to get the donations, like a memstock idea.
So imagine truckers buy some low value innocuous penny stock, and buy lots of it, then donors buy the shares off the truckers at double the price via carefully selected intermediaries who won't block trades.
The govt, even when it finds out, will have trouble trying to freeze bank accounts... Especially if the stock being traded is anything to do with covid medical supplies. This is what the whole thing is about... Its large private equity bribing government and social media to make profit. Did you know that the biggest shareholder of Moderna is also the biggest shareholder of Spotify? Those giants, BlackRock, Vanguard (Rothschilds), StateStreet, owners of media shares, and owners of politicians and central bankers, academic research funding through insider trading, and buyers up of land and property at inflated prices to transform you all into serfs on their feudal lands... Able to delete your accounts, eager to ban cash and crypto. It's not as simple as Blofeld Schwab in Davos and the WEF, it's the entire global financial system, the Euro$ system, the system that is undergoing a collapse and rebirth... They need the money and the indentured labour to fund their quest for life extension.
It is the ancient quest for the elixir of life, the transhumanist cyborg cult is pursuing... Not just power for its own sake, but for the most fundamental sake of all - survival... Life... The cheating of death.

But the idea is to conceal the crowdfunding as just running an online retail operation like any other. At the moment the regime is at least trying to maintain the pretence of adhering to rule of law. I mean, you can't stop person A buying from person B, or person B giving to person C if they do it in a mainstream paradigm. What can they arrest an eBayer for? Selling shoes? Giving cash to a friend etc...? It's throwing down a gauntlet to the regime's façade.
