I see this sub turning DeBoer into the devil, but I don’t see anything wrong with leaving for a more prestigious, resource rich program. No one complained about DeBoer being unloyal to Fresno State, no one (besides Arizona fans) see anything wrong about Jedd Fisch potentially taking the UW job.
I can understand the disdain for money driven lateral moves, like Jimbo to A&M, Kelly to LSU, and especially Lincoln to USC (where he clearly had planned it in advance, and brought all of his top talent with him). But I don’t see anything wrong about KDB to Bama, or Taggart/Cristobal’s departure.
What is the “right way” for a coach to leave. What could KDB have done better? When is it justified?
