The new V-A-/r/soccer thread continues this week, with the third in the series.
The idea for these V-A-/r/soccer threads is that we pick one controversial officiating decision, discuss, and vote using Reddit Polls on what we think the outcome should have been.
Following feedback, we are going to also have a “neutral” option - this is for if you do not wish to vote, and just want to see the results.

This week has seen two major continental tournaments kick off - AFCON, and the Asian Cup. The thread this week therefore has an international flavour.
China had been toiling all game vs Tajikistan, and thought they finally had a break through - converting a corner in the 81st minute.
However, following a VAR review, the goal was disallowed - apparently for an offside call on China’s #2 (Jiang Guangtai), who was on the goal line.
The decision has proved controversial - with views decided on whether Jiang Guangtai was involved enough in the play to consider him active, and hence offside.
